Projects
The prelude to the caption of my latest project arrives as a birthday gift — a collection of carefully chosen words that I still carry with me:
“If I were to say — stay as unique as you are,
there are few clichés you eat for breakfast.
You invented the textbook example of what it means to be yourself,
and that’s why, in the business world, you’re one of the rare people
I can truly say — from the heart —
that I’m glad I had the chance to meet and work with.”
Words like these are more than a compliment.
They are proof that integrity has its own aesthetic.
And that aesthetics, if it isn’t alive — isn’t real.
Projects hold a special meaning for me when, alongside my signature, I leave a part of my own lifestyle.
The houses I create do not radiate the luxury of material things —
the kind defined by the pores of a deeply competitive society.
Instead, I choose the luxury of life.
I enrich them with the spirit of place,
the energy of the day,
habits that preserve peace,
and views that take your breath away.
This house in Herzegovina is an everyday life filled with vitality.
Behind the scenes of a simple, refined form with a flat roof
lies rest.
Pools.
A lounge corner for the calm of the day.
And a vineyard in the distance —
where everything that burdens you disappears,
while Herzegovina offers its best — the vines.
You have to know how to create.
And have the courage to stand behind it.
